Noroshi - Beats from the East - was a live music showcase organised by the SRK for the 2005 Sonar Festival. The showcase was a follow-up project to the Japanese hip hop documentary - Scracthing the Surface: Japan.

With the aim of showcasing some of the most cutting edge hip-hop talents from Japan such as AFRA and The Incredible Beatbox Band and DJ Tatsuki, the show was a great success with nearly 1000 people filling the Sonar Village arena in central Barcelona.
